Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical quality This product is amber viscous clarified liquid, miscible with water, and the 10% aqueous solution is neutral. The shrinkage rate of the wool fabric treated by it is greatly reduced. |
Use | This product is used for wool fabric, wool blended fabric shrinkage-proof finishing. |
It is irritating and should not come into direct contact with the skin. Place in a cool and ventilated warehouse, do not store with flammable materials, and keep away from ignition sources.
1. Heat 240kg toluene, 200kg polyether, 48kg chloroacetic acid, and 10kg p-toluenesulfonic acid under nitrogen protection to 110 ℃, and reflux for 4 hours. Cool, add a small amount of alkali to neutralize until the material is neutral, separate the water layer, and then depressurize and remove toluene to obtain chloroacetyl polyether (viscous liquid).
2. Inject the prepared chloroacetyl polyether into a reactor containing 220kg of isopropanol, add 120kg of water, 120kg of sodium thiosulfate, and reflux for 3 hours. Cool to room temperature, stir for 4 hours, and let stand for 10 hours. Divide the lower layer of water, remove isopropanol under reduced pressure, and obtain a small amount of water to obtain the product (amber transparent viscous liquid).
240 kg of toluene, 200 kg of polyether, 48 kg of chloroacetic acid and 10 kg of p-toluenesulfonic acid were heated to 110 ℃ under nitrogen protection and refluxed for 4 h. Cooling, adding a small amount of alkali to neutralize until the material is neutral, after the water layer is removed, the toluene is reduced pressure to obtain chloroacetyl polyether (viscous liquid).
The chloroacetyl polyether prepared above was injected into a reactor containing 220 kg of isopropyl alcohol, 120 kg of water and 120 kg of sodium thiosulfate were added, and refluxed for 3 h. Cold to room temperature, stir for 4 h and let stand for 10 h. Divide the lower layer of water, remove isopropanol and a small amount of water to obtain the product (amber transparent viscous liquid).
